Feet on the Farm Adventure Race-Register Today

Feet on the Farm is an Ag-inspired Adventure Race hosted by the Cuming County Visitors Bureau and Angry Cow Adventures out of Panama, NE and will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2016. The race will start in West Point at Neligh Park and will end in West Point as well. This can be a single participant event or teams of 2-3. The event will take participants across Cuming County and will include canoeing, kayaking or rafting most likely in the Elkhorn River, and running and biking mostly on gravel roads. The exact route is still being plotted, but participants will see farms and observe agriculture at various check points along the way. The cost to participate depends on which course you choose to do. The Sport Course is $40 and is a 3-4 hour race. The Adventure Course is $65 and is an 8-10 hour race. Race fee includes t-shirts, prizes, meal, and course map.  Since this is an Ag-inspired Adventure Race, there will also be farm-related challenges, such as but not limited to:

  • Tractor Tire Tipping
  • Hay Bale Tossing
  • Crawling underneath barbed wire
  • Carrying pails of water a certain distance
  • And more!!!

Feet on the Farm Adventure Race will be fun for all involved and will help showcase what Cuming County has to offer through agriculture, local attractions and annual events, such as the Wisner Livestock Show and Lions Club Rodeo that will also be taking place that day.

To register, please visit www.raceregister.net and click on Feet on the Farm Adventure Race. After May 13, fees will be $55 for the sport course and $80 for the adventure course so sign up today! For more information, please contact Kelly Gentrup at (402) 372-6001.
